Farmer’s Market finds
I love going to the Ann Arbor Farmer’s Market, but Ryan and I both hate dealing with the lack of parking and the crowds so it’s not often we actually make it there. Last Saturday, we made the trip though and it was wonderful to see the many booths of tomatoes, peppers, and other local goods this time of year. We left with an interesting assortment of things – fresh apple cider from Wasem Fruit Farm, hot dog buns, Roos Roast Lobster Butter Love coffee beans (my personal favorite), and two bunches of fresh flowers. Zinnias make me happy – they are so bright, colorful, and cheery; they remind me of my Mom’s garden back home when I was a little girl – they were one of the few flowers that would survive the Texas heat. You can almost always find one or more flower arrangements sprinkled around our home, because I love fresh flowers so much.
