The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly…

This last week was filled with lots of things, both good, bad, & ugly…  Luckily, the good seem to have far outweighed both the bad & ugly!

Here are a few of the good:

Here are some of the bad (& the ugly):

  • Picked up my occlusal guard on Wednesday, which I am now supposed to wear every night because I grind my teeth in my sleep; believe me when I tell you that it’s not pretty when I wear this thing!
  • Ryan & I tackled the mountain of filing, sorting, & shredding that we’d put off for WAY to long on Saturday afternoon – this resulted in 5 big bags full of shredding & recycling & took about 4 hours to complete. Although it was ugly getting through it, it feels good to have it done!
  • I actually managed to bowl gutter balls & score nothing on my turn more than once during our game on Saturday; although my score wasn’t pretty, it was a lot of fun!

  1. you weren’t the only one bowling gutter balls!

And I would think tackling your filing and sorting would be in the “good” column! I mean you did it! That’s impressive. Steven still has stuff to go through over our garage from before we got married!

  2. Abigail, you’re right – most of the things I listed in the “bad” column are actually both good & bad, but in the end they’re good. It sucked having to go through all that mess for 4 hours, but it was so great to get it done & it’s good because now it’s all sorted & we don’t have to look at it junking up our room anymore. And the occlusal guard is good because it will help me to not wear my teeth down at night, even though I hate wearing it for now. And the bowling wasn’t all bad because I did actually make a couple strikes, but most importantly I had a great time with all of you!

  3. i love the photo of the bowling balls! P.S. You just reminded me of the mountain of paper I need to tackle as well. Shredding, sorting, here I go!

Jaeve, glad you like the pic, thanks. And good luck with your shredding/sorting – I hope it goes quickly & painlessly for you! 🙂
